Indotech Analog KVAR Meter – Analog KVAR Meter is used to meter the reactive side of power in an Industrial and commercial building. Utilities bill it because it affects their demand and transformer assets. Along with a kWh meter, the kVARh meter is installed side by side, but nowadays, digital meter does all this and so only one meter is installed. Kilo Volt Ampere Reactive, It’s a unit of reactive power. Actual Power consumed by loads is called Kilo Watt Power. All the Power given to the load is not utilized as useful power, some power is being wasted. The power which is not consumed is called Reactive power i.e KVAR. 1. DYNAMO METER TYPE : Current Coil & Volt Coil interact to give direct reading on dial.

Common output options include binary coded decimal (BCD), digital-to-analog (D/A), universal serial bus (USB), general-purpose interface bus (GPIB), and RS-232. ACCURACY : Class 1.0 as per ISS 1248/03.
SCALE : Almost linear from 1/10 to full scale in case of kVAR Meter.
TYPE :
- Single element type for single phase A.C. measurements.
- Single element type for 3 phase balanced load.
- Elements type for 3 phase 3 wire balanced & unbalanced loads.
- Elements type for 3 phase, 4 wire balanced & unbalanced loads.
RANGE : Current 1A or 5A & voltage upto 600V with internal resistance. Higher ranges with CT’s & PT’s
